Trial Counsel Services

What Types of Services Do Personal Injury Law Firms Typically Offer?

One of the biggest misconceptions out there is that every personal injury law firm offers the same services. While many of the law firms offer very similar services, not every law firm offers the same exact services. There are a few services that one firm may offer that other may not offer. Learning about these services can help you decide prior to hiring a lawyer if you may need them, which allows you to ask a law firm if they offer these specific services. Here are more about a couple of services that not every law firm offers.

One of the services that you may need is per-diem deposition services. You may be handling a case yourself and may just need a witness deposed. Or you may have been served a deposition notice, and want a law firm to help you prepare for having your deposition taken. An attorney's office may or may not offer only deposition services, so it is important to ask. Another service that you may need is trial counsel services. The majority of personal injury cases settle before they go to trial. As such, some attorneys do not have trial counsel services themselves. If a case does not settle, they may outsource the case to another law firm. Most people want to use the same attorney throughout the course of their case, so always ensure they offer trial counsel services.
